Pay:

This pay range is a starting point.
Pay is dependent on experience and advancement through our skill assessments and leadership development system.
This is an entry-level position, which is a great way to get your foot in the door of a veterinary practice.
This position requires a strong love of pets and attention to detail.
Kennel Assistants must work in conjunction with the doctors and technicians to provide a high quality of care.
The majority of time is spent caring for our boarders by exercising, feeding and ensuring the needs of the pets in our care are being met.
The position also includes extensive husbandry cleaning duties for all areas of the hospital.
This position requires a flexible schedule and availability on weekends and holidays.
Must possess a good work ethic and work well with others.
A genuine interest in pet care is a must.
Our Kennel Assistants not only provide excellent care to our boarders and hospitalized patients, they are also the reason our facility sparkles and smell awesome.
Requirements for all hospital positions include a positive attitude, a strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to work unsupervised, ability to lift 40lbs and be on your feet for extended times, be familiar with small/large dog breeds and dog behavior, be able to work individually and as part of a team, be friendly and reliable, have compassion for and love our dogs as if they were your own.
